Egypt is seeking US$10 billion in information technology investments in the coming four years, the telecoms minister said.
Atef Helmy further elaborated that his ministry’s future strategy includes pumping new investments in six governorates across the nation for electronics manufacturing and upgrading.
The North African country also aims 5 billion Egyptian pounds (US$698.7 million) in investments within four years from now to establish computer manufacturing centres in cooperation with global firms, the minister noted.
