Egypt Post invests EGP800mln in a new logistics centre at Cairo Airport

Egypt Post, the governmental agency responsible for postal service, has inaugurated a logistics centre at Cairo International  Airport to  promote external trade and improve the efficiency of customs clearance operations.

Essam El Saghir, Egypt Post’s chairman said that the total investments of the new centre is estimated at 800 million Egyptian pounds.

Egypt had introduced the single-window system at the Cairo International Airport and reduced the container-handling costs in order to lower the goods prices.
