Egypt Post to issue official documents at its branches

Egypt Post signed Sunday a protocol of cooperation with Ministry of Interior with the aim of improving services provided by Civil Status department.

In cooperation with Interior Ministry, Egypt Post will be authorised to issue official documents such as birth, death and marriage certificates at its offices spread all over the republic.

Ihab Abdel-Rahman, assistant minister for department of civil status lauded the ministry’s efforts to develop new mechanisms by which the department can offer up-to-date, easily accessible services.

Essam El-Sageir, CEO of Egypt Post said that upon this agreement, citizens can now head to the nearest post office to issue and receive all kinds of official documents.

He added that the new services are provided using the latest tech systems which will help save much time and effort for both providers and recipients of these services.
