The US dollar’s price against the Egyptian pound has steadied on Tuesday at EGP 6.7893 (buy price) and EGP 6.8194 (sell price)coinciding with not offering FX auctions to local banks by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
On the contrary, the exchange rates of euro, pound sterling, yen, Saudi riyal, UAE dirham and Kuwaiti dinar rose on Tuesday.
Euro has reached EGP 8.7609 (buy price) and EGP 8.9747 (sell price), compared to Monday’s levels of EGP 8.7431(buy price) and EGP 8.9142 (sell price).
The pound sterling has hit on Tuesday EGP 10.2129 (buy price) and EGP 10.4596 (sell price), as opposed to Monday’s levels of EGP 10.1938 (buy price) and EGP 10.3677 (sell price).
Additionally, the yen’s price against the Egyptian pound also increased as the ¥100 hit on Tuesday EGP 7.0793 (buy price) and EGP 7.2485 (sell price), compared to Monday’s levels of EGP 7.0759 (buy price) and EGP 7.2144 (sell price).
The Saudi riyal also increased to EGP 1.8053 (buy price) and EGP 1.8235 (sell price), as opposed to Monday’s levels of EGP 1.7947 (buy price) and EGP 1.8253 (sell price).
The Kuwaiti dinar surged to EGP 23.6979 (buy price) and EGP 24.3793 (sell price), compared to Monday’s levels of EGP 23.4934 (buy price) and EGP 24.2614 (sell price).
For the UAE dirham, it increased against the Egyptian pound reporting EGP 1.847 (buy price) and EGP 1.8921 (sell price), as opposed to Monday’s levels of EGP 1.8336 (buy price) and EGP 1.8649 (sell price).
