Egypt purchases Russian, Ukrainian wheat at international tender

Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) purchased 180,000 metric tons of wheat in an international tender, including 50,000 tons from Ukraine and 60,000 tons from Russia, UkrAgroConsult reported on Tuesday.

The purchase comes as a part of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade’s strategy to strengthen its commodity stocks, GASC said in its statement that published on Tuesday.
