Egypt records 1,365 new coronavirus cases on Monday, 34 deaths

Egypt reported on Monday 1,365 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections to 35,444, the health ministry said.

The ministry also recorded 34 fatalities, taking the total death toll from the virus to1,271, Ahram Online reported.

The health ministry added that 414 patients fully recovered and were discharged from isolation hospitals and quarantine facilities. The total number of recoveries from the highly contagious virus now stands at 9,375.

The number of patients whose test results have turned from positive to negative, including complete recoveries, has now reached 10,618, the ministry added.
