Egypt reports 1,265 new coronavirus cases on Sunday – ministry

Egypt’s Ministry of Health said on Sunday it has detected 1,265 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total tally to 65,188.

The ministry also reported 81 new deaths in its daily statement on the status of COVID-19 in Egypt, bringing the total death toll to 2,789.

The statement said that 400 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 17,539.
