Egypt reserves an amount of Remisdivir drug 7 weeks ago
Egypt has reserved an amount of “Remisdivir” drug to treat Coronavirus patients seven weeks ago in cooperation with the World Health Organization, according to the Minister of Health Hala Zayed.
WHO will be responsible with covering the expenses of the first amount of the drug that will be sent to Egypt.
The minister added that Egypt is among 100 countries that conducted researches on treating coronavirus patients using plasma therapy, stressing that the treatment of people using the plasma has already started, and there are two cases that have responded very well to the treatment.
