Switzerland, Egypt eye boosting mutual cooperation

Egypt and Switzerland are in talks to boost mutual cooperation in several development projects. This comes after Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr had met Monday with Swiss Ambassador to Cairo Markus Leitner.

Nasr praised the partnership between Egypt and Switzerland and the mutual keenness to support future cooperation and promote social and economic development.

The Egyptian minister said that Egyptian government hopes Switzerland would take part in several projects that would positively reflect on citizens who are in needs.

From his part, Swiss ambassador stressed that his country expresses its interest to cooperate with Cairo to develop bilateral relations on both social and economic levels.

At the end of the meeting, the minister confirmed the importance of joint coordination to break all obstacles which face different projects.
