Egypt to establish freight, maritime transport firm with Africa: PM
Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly directed officials to make a full vision for establishing a national company for freight and maritime transport in order to boost trading links with Africa.
This came during his meeting with Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir, Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Mohab Mamish, assistant foreign minister for African affairs Abu Bakr el Hefni and other officials.
Madbouly said the company aimed at reinforcing ties with Africa, as this idea was introduced during the preparatory meetings for Egypt’s presidency to the AU, in addition to that it was an important proposal different Egyptian export councils.
