Egypt is set to form a committee to revitalise the tourism sector, said Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa on Monday.
The committee’s head will be the Minister Issa, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, head of the Egyptian tourism Federation, and head of the tourism and aviation committee at the Parliament.
The committee will focus on studying programmes and mechanisms to achieve the strategic goals of the industry within the ministry’s 2030 vision. It will hold its meetings twice a year or whenever is needed.
