Egypt to reduce employment rates 8.4% by 2022: PM

The Egyptian government is planning  to reduce the employment rates 8.4 percent in 2022 according to the Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.

Madbouli noted during his speech at Akhbar Al Youm fifth economic conference، entitled “Industrialization…The road to the future”,  that the government seeks to increase the industrial growth rate from 6.3 percent in 2018 to 7.7 by 2020.

He added that aims at opening 12 investments zones during the upcoming period, while expanding in establishing free zone and 13 new industrial complexes that will help creating thousand of job opportunities.

The conference is attended by five minister, including, Minister of Planning, Hala Al-Saeed, Mohammad Al-Asaar, Minister of Military Production, Mohammad Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mahmoud Shaarawi,  Minister of Local Development and Mohamed Maait,  Minister of Finance.
