Egypt to release new 4G frequencies within a month: ITIDA

Egypt’s Ministry of Communication is expected to make the new 4G frequencies available for mobile phone operators within a month from now, head of ITIDA – the ministry’s IT arm, told Amwal Al Ghad Wednesday.

Asmaa Hosny, CEO of Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), made these remarks Wednesday, on behalf of the Minister of communication, following a meeting organised by Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (CIT).
