EgyptAir halts all flights to Khartoum indefinitely
EgyptAir has announced on Tuesday the continues suspension of flights from and to Khartoum International Airport until further notice as deadly clashes in Sudan have continued for the fourth day in a row.
EgyptAir called on travelers to review their reservations by calling the EgyptAir hotline 1717 from any mobile phone inside Egypt, landline number 090070000, or the international numbers +97142306666, and +966122297777.
The company had suspended all of its flights to and from Khartoum airport for 72 hours starting Saturday afternoon – shortly after the outbreak of violence in Khartoum.
Earlier today, a senior military commander in the Sudanese army claimed that the RSF carried out acts of sabotage at Khartoum airport, disrupting air traffic.
