Egyptian central bank’s total assets hit EGP6.213t in Oct’24

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reported on Sunday a significant increase in its total assets, which reached 6.213 trillion Egyptian pounds by the end of October 2024, up from 6.090 trillion pounds in September.

According to the CBE’s monthly financial position report, the central bank’s investments in the capitals of international financial institutions stood at 26.210 billion pounds. Meanwhile, CBE’s investments in the capitals of subsidiaries and associates totaled 79.099 billion pounds.
