Egyptian Exchange Briefing 07/03/2023

The Egyptian Exchange witnessed a huge fall in the majority of its indices, with the main index, EGX 30, falling by -2.21 percent. The index now has a value of 16432.56, when it opened at 16803.89. The index recorded a high value of 16871.83 and a day low value of 16401.62.

EGX 70 EWI as well dropped by a percentage of -1.86 percent to 3010.05. The index opened at 3067.23, recording a high value of 3093.21 and a day low value of 3010.05.

EGX 50 EWI declined by -2.04 percent to close at 2853.04, when it opened at 2912.32. The index recorded a day high value of 2923.33 and a day low value of 2851.03.

EGX 100 EWI fell by -1.92 percent to reach a closing value of 4447.98. The index opened at 4534.84, and recorded a day high value of 4563.41 and a day low value of 4446.51.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around 20 billion Egyptian pounds today.
