Egyptian Exchange briefing 15/03/2023

The Egyptian Exchange dropped on Wednesday, with the main index, EGX 30, falling by -4.15 percent to 14724.44. The index opened at 15362.25, recording a day high value of 15703.78, and a day low value of 14724.44, the closing value.

EGX 70 EWI tumbled by -8.22 percent to close at 2564.33, when it opened at 2794.07. The index recorded a day high value of 2841.38, and a day low value of 2564.33.

EGX 50 EWI dropped by -6.72 percent to reach 2486.14. The index had a value of 2665.11 at morning trade, and it recorded a day high value of 2706.66 and a day low value of 2486.14.

EGX 100 EWI as well fell by a percentage of -7.64 percent to close at 3811.88, when it opened at 4127.28. The index recorded a day high value of 4192.66, and a day low value of 3811.88.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around 43 billion Egyptian pounds today.
