Egyptian pound hits 47.90 versus USD

Egypt’s banks exhibited slight differences in USD exchange rates on March 17, 2024. The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) posted rates at 47.77/47.90 EGP for buying/selling.

The National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr both offered 47.80/47.90 EGP.

The Commercial International Bank (CIB) set a lower rate at 47.75/47.80 EGP, while QNB ALAHLI had 47.75/47.85 EGP.

Faisal Islamic Bank’s rates were 47.70/47.80 EGP, and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank had the highest rates at 48.52/48.62 EGP, showcasing the dynamic currency market in Egypt.
