Egyptian President Sisi offers condolences to Lebanon after Beirut blast
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has offered his condolences and solidarity to the Lebanese government and people after a major explosion in Beirut on Tuesday afternoon.
In a short post on his official social media accounts, Sisi wished a full recovery to the injured, and patience and condolences to the families of the victims.
According to Lebanese officials, at least ten people were killed and hundreds injured by the explosion at Beirut port.
Officials have not yet determined the reason for the explosion.
