Egypt’s exports of ready-made garments fell 13.2 percent to $707 million throughout the first seven months of 2016, compared to $815 million in the same period last year.
Exports during July tumbled 9 percent to $100.5 million from $110 million in the same month in 2015, according to the latest statistics on exports of ready-made clothes.
In May, the ready-made garment sector registered the biggest fall, in which exports reached $98 million, compared to $122 million during May 2015.
