Egyptian Takaful Insurance – Properties: Investments 30% up in FY2013/14

Egyptian Takaful Insurance – Properties has registered a 30% rise in its portfolio of investments, totalling EGP 367.8 million by end of fiscal year of 2013-14, said head of investment in property division El-Sayed Bayoumi.

In earlier fiscal year (2012-2013), the company reported a portfolio of investments worth EGP 282.8 million.

The investment returns of the company have reached EGP 50 million at end of June 2014, versus EGP 35.1 million at end of June 2013, Bayoumi noted.

Despite the uneasy economic challenges in Egypt, the company has managed to increase its investments by virtue of its leaders and staff’s determined efforts, he elaborated.
