Egypt’s Exports to Africa Hit EGP4 billion in H1

Egypt’s volume of exports to the African continent hits around EGP 4 billion during first half of the current year, said Minister of Trade and Industry Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour.

The food sector captures the lion’s share of Egyptian H1 exports to Africa, since it recorded about EGP 976 million.

In a keynote speech at International Fairs & Promotions (IFP Egypt)’s Conference organised Thursday and Friday, Abdel Nour has stressed Egypt’s strong ties with African countries, notably in the commercial sector.

On Thursday, IFP Group – the leading Exhibition and Event organizer in the Middle East – organised its conference in Cairo on the occasion of the launch of IFP’s office in Egypt.
