Egyptian Takaful Insurance’s (Property) total assets increased around 25 percent year-on-year to 2.063 billion Egyptian pounds ($128,822) at the end of last March, its vice-chairman said on Tuesday.
Earlier, assets recorded about 1.654 billion pounds at the end of March 2019.
“Our total investments rose to 1.74 billion pounds at the end of last March from 1.44 billion pounds at the end of June 2019,” El-Sayed Bayoumi further told Amwal Al Ghad.
During the first nine months of the 2019/2020 financial year, the company posted investment returns climbed 32.9 percent to 179.5 million pounds against 135 million pounds during the same period last year, Bayoumi added.
