Egypt’s agricultural exports exceeded 6.9 million tons during the period from January 1 to October 16, 2024, amounting to over $4.037 billion, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. This marks an increase of $980 million and more than 574,000 tons compared to the same period last year.
Key exports include citrus fruits, potatoes, onions, grapes, beans, sweet potatoes, mangoes, tomatoes, garlic, strawberries, guavas, and pomegranates. Citrus fruits topped the list with over 2.27 million tons, followed by 973,130 tons of fresh potatoes and 281,785 tons of onions.
