Egypt’s Arab Contractors receives U.S. ENR’s 2017 best renovation award

Egypt’s state-owned construction firm Arab Contractors says it has won the 2017 Global Best Project Award in the Renovation/Restoration category by U.S. Engineering News Record (ENR) Magazine.

The company has received the award in recognition of its pioneering role in renovating the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, Mari Girgis in Old Cairo, said AC’s chairman Mohsen Salah on Wednesday.

“ENR is keen on giving awards to the firms, which execute the best flagships in building and construction fields all over the world,” Salah further added.
