Egypt’s auto sales fell by 65 percent year on year (YoY) in October 2023 to reach 6,077 vehicles sold, said Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC).
According to the AMIC, the number went down from 19,300 vehicles sold during the same period last year.
This is the lowest drop in Egypt’s auto sales throughout the past two years.
Nissan topped the market with a market share of 36.5 percent in October.
Chery came in second place with 33 percent of total sales, while BYD came in third with a market share of 9.6 percent.
