Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday. The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.84 per cent, to 30,497.13 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 jumped by 1.36 to 3,173.05 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 soared by 1.43 per cent, to 8,394.53 points.
The index, EGX100 index rose by 1.47 per cent, to 11,546.8 points.
The total market cap reached 2,229,424,923,480 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and None-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 32,106,318 Egyptian pounds, and 216,542,917 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, The Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 248,649,235 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Sunday
- Raya Customer Experience (RACC.CA) shares rose by 13.28 per cent, to close at the price of 7.250 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Misr Beni Suef Cement (MBSC.CA) shares climbed by 10.92 per cent, to trade at the price of 58.730 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Ibnsina Pharma (ISPH.CA) shares jumped by 10.08 per cent, to the purchasing price of 6.770 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- Canal Shipping Agencies (CSAG.CA) shares fell by 8.13 per cent, to close at 21.240 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Development & Engineering Consultants (DAPH.CA) shares declined by 5.45 per cent, to close at 51.900 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Egyptian Iron & Steel (IRON.CA) shares dropped by 4.98 per cent, to close at the price of 49.020 Egyptian pounds a share.
