The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, announced an auction on Monday of 55 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills).
The auction will be conducted in two tranches:
- 30 billion Egyptian pounds for 91 days, maturing on September 24, 2024.
- 25 billion Egyptian pounds for 273 days, maturing on March 25, 2025.
