Egypt’s c.bank governor, Qatari finance minister discuss expanded economic collaboration

Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) Governor Hassan Abdalla met on Thursday with Qatari Finance Minister Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari to discuss ways to enhance economic co-operation between the two countries.

During their meeting, the two officials reviewed bilateral economic relations and explored opportunities for increased cooperation and knowledge sharing. Egypt’s improving investment climate and strong economic performance, including record-high international reserves, were highlighted as factors attracting foreign investment.

The meeting also touched on Egypt’s recent progress in infrastructure development, clean energy projects, and other key economic sectors.

The encounter took place on the sidelines of the Arab Economic and Social Council meeting in Cairo, reflecting the growing importance of the Egypt-Qatar relationship.
