Egypt’s c. bank offers EGP 2.5b in fixed coupon t-bonds

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Sunday offered fixed-rate treasury bonds (t-bonds) worth 2.5 billion Egyptian pounds, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.

The three-year bond is valued at 2.5 billion pounds will be matured on 04-06-2027.

A coupon is an annual interest paid on a bond. Investors receive a coupon payment, either annually or biannually, from issuance until maturity, if they hold the bond, as explained by DailyForex website.
