Egypt’s c. bank offers EGP 55b in T-bills on Sunday
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is offering 55 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, according to a CBE statement on its website.
The auction shall be in two tranches: 30 billion pounds for 91 days, and 25billion pounds for 273 days, as per the statement.
Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities ranging from three months to a year.
