Egypt’s CBE offers EGP 50b in T-bills
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is offering 50 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, according to a CBE statement on its website.
The auction shall be in two tranches: 30 billion pounds for 91-day to be maturated on 03/09/2024, and 20 billion pounds for 273-day to be maturated on 04/03/2025, as per the statement.
Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities ranging from three months to a year.
