Egypt’s central bank offers $1.3bln T-bills
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) on Sunday worth 40 billion Egyptian pounds through two auctions.
According to official data, the first tranche had a value of 23 billion pounds,with a tenor of 91 days until 21 November 2023.
The second offering has a value of 17 billion pounds and is set to mature in 273 days on 21 May 2024.
The CBE auctioned T-bills on Thursday at a combined value of 43 billion pounds through two issues.
