Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered Wednesday 13 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills), according to a statement.
T-bills was offered through three tranches; 182-day bills at 6.25 billion pounds, 364-day bills worth 6 billion pounds, and 7-year bills at 750 million pounds.
The country’s Finance Ministry seeks to to offer T-bills and bonds of 105.25 billion pounds in June to finance the budget deficit.
