Egypt’s central bank says $88 billion cash inflows into banks in two years
Cash inflows into Egypt’s banking system totalled around $88 billion in two years, Egypt’s central bank governor said on Friday.
Tarek Amer also said total investments in the government treasury bills reached 26 billion Egyptian pounds ($1.5 billion).
Egypt’s net foreign reserves edged up to $44.11 billion at the end of March from $44.06 billion the previous month, the central bank said earlier this month.
