The budget of Egypt’s The Chamber of Information Technology and Communications (CIT) for financial year 2016-17 amounted to 3 million Egyptian Pounds ($184,599).
In a press conference held on Sunday, Walid Gad, Chairman of CIT said that the chamber is mainly financed by Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) besides its membership fees.
He also confirmed the Chamber’s plans to address both ITIDA and the MCIT for additional financial aid so that it can realise its developmental strategies.
