Egypt’s cotton exports jumped 120.9 percent during the fourth quarter of the 2018-2019 agricultural season, said the state-run statistics agency CAPMAS on Sunday.
Domestic cotton’s total consumption reached about 36,000 metric quintals during the fourth quarter of the agricultural season from 28,800 metric quintals during the same period last agricultural season, CAPMAS said India is the largest importer of Egyptian cotton.
