Egypt’s Delta Life Assurance posted a 30.8 percent year-on-year increase in direct compensations paid to client, official sources said on Wednesday.
Direct compensation rose to 133.3 million Egyptian pounds ($8 million) in the financial year 2018/2019 from 101.9 million pounds in the financial year 2017/2018.
Compensations retrieved from reinsurance operations reached 17.4 million pounds up from 8.9 million pounds at the end of June 2018, the sources told Amwal Al Ghad.
The company also paid net compensations of around 116.3 million pounds to its clients during the last financial year against 92.9 million pounds a year earlier, marking a 25 percent growth, the sources added.
