The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) and Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA) signed a memorandum of understanding, during the Africa Health Excon conference, aiming to boost co-operation for public health and meet Zambia’s pharmaceutical needs, as per a cabinet statement.
The agreement involves Zambian reliance on Egyptian regulatory standards for medical product registration. Moreover, joint capacity-building initiatives are planned.
This collaboration underscores the EDA’s regional leadership and supports the penetration of Egyptian medical products into global markets.
