Egypt’s Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny met with representatives of a real estate consultancy firm to review preparations for the implementation of the Zelal housing project, which will soon be made available to citizens.
El-Sherbiny emphasised the importance of delivering a competitive real estate product that ensures a high quality of life and meets the housing needs of citizens across different income levels.
During the discussion, El-Sherbiny reviewed several proposed designs for the residential buildings in the Zelal project, praising the designs proposed for buildings, according to a Cabinet statement on Thursday.
He instructed that the design should maintain harmony between the project’s general layout, building structures, and open spaces while ensuring a distinctive architectural character, the statement added.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of incorporating sustainability measures to withstand environmental factors such as sun exposure, wind, and rain, alongside adhering to the highest safety and security standards.
El-Sherbiny also directed that a comprehensive security and control system be swiftly developed for new residential projects upon completion. He emphasised the need to enhance safety measures through an integrated electronic system.
