Egypt’s expenditure volume rises to reach EGP 222bln in health sector – minister
Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, stated that the amount of expenditure made within Egypt’s health sector has reached 222 billion Egyptian pounds since 2014, during the activities of the first day of Africa Health ExCon on Tuesday.
This figure indicates the size of large expenditure at a rate of seven times for the development of the sector, both at the level of health facilities and the provision of advanced services to the Egyptian citizen.
He explained that humans’ mental health improves when they move from slums to urban areas, noting the decrease in deaths resulting from road accidents after the development of the national road network.
The conference will be held starting today and will continue until next Friday, with the participation of more than 90 countries in addition to more than 1,200 speakers.
