Egypt’s finance minister seeks strategic partnership with NDB
Egypt is seeking strategic partnership with New Development Bank (NDB) to attract new investments for the establishment of sustainable development goals, the Cabinet said in a statement on Sunday.
Egypt’s Finance Minister, Dr Mohamed Maeet, told an NDP delegation led by vice-president and chief operating officer, Vladimir Kazbekov, that Egypt and the bank had a potential of co-operating on projects like clean energy, transport, social protection, environment, information infrastructure, water, and sanitation.
The co-operation is also seeks to issue blue, green, social, and sustainable bonds to help Egypt achieve its Vision 2030.
Dr Maeet added that the country was open to co-operate with different international organisations to help reach its sustainable development goals.
