Profits of Egypt’s snack food maker Edita increased by 44.5 percent, reaching 243 million Egyptian pounds ($13.8 million) during 2017, according to a bourse filling on Tuesday.
Earlier, profits stood at 168.17 million pounds during 2016.
The company made sales estimated at 3 billion pounds last year up from 2.5 billion pounds a year earlier.
During the third quarter of 2017, profits jumped by 43 percent to 74.11 million pounds, compared with 51.75 million pounds during the same period in 2016.
