Egypt’s fuel exports increased to around $667 million in June from $548 million during the same month last year, the state-run Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation’s chairman said on Tuesday.
“The petroleum sector exported the fuel in conjunction with the government’s plan to support its current export programme in various sectors,” Abed Ezz El Regal further told Amwal Al Ghad.
The Ministry of Petroleum has exported crude oil shipments worth around $187 million in June from $156 million during June 2018, marking an increase of $31 million, Ezz El Regal added.
“We have also exported petroleum products exceeding $210 million, compared with $115 million during June 2018, marking an increase of $95 million,” he said.
