Egypt’s monthly fuel imports reported a decline between $300 million and $400 million in August, official sources in the state-owned General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) on Sunday.
Egypt’s imports of petroleum products captured the lion share of the monthly imports, as they valued between $640 million and $660 million, the sources further told Amwal Al Ghad.
“Last August, the petroleum sector imported crude oil worth around $175 million, directed to a number of governmental or private local refineries,” they said.
