Egypt’s GAFI launches digital platform to simplify business services for investors
Egypt’s General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) has launched Sunday a digital platform to deliver specialised technical services to investors, part of the government’s broader push towards digital transformation and improved investment services infrastructure.
The new platform, dedicated to the Economic Performance Sector, serves as a unified portal aimed at simplifying access to services, improving efficiency, and accelerating procedures.
In its initial rollout, the platform will offer financial restructuring, valuation, and feasibility studies, including investment cost assessments.
GAFI said applications for financial restructuring services will, in the first phase, be accepted through the digital portal alongside the existing paper-based system, paving the way for a full transition to electronic submissions under the country’s approved digital transformation strategy while ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
Investors can apply for services through the platform at: https://ep.gafi.gov.eg or by scanning the designated QR code.
