Egypt’s GASC buys 63,000 tonnes of German wheat in direct deal

Egypt’s state grains buyer General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) bought around 63,000 tonnes of German wheat in a direct deal, according to Reuters’ report on Thursday.

It is thought to be the buying was carried out on July 5, continuing recent purchasing by GASC without international tenders being issued.

GASC might buy 444,000 tonnes of wheat directly from trading houses on Monday.
