Egypt’s gold prices hiked on Tuesday midday due to the global increase in gold prices, with 21-carat gold reaching 3,130 Egyptian pounds per gram, according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad English from Egyptian Gold and Jewellery Trade Division.
Meanwhile, the highest-priced carat in Egypt, the 24-carat gold reached 3,577.1 pounds per gram, compared to 3457.1 in the previous day.
The 18-carat gold traded at 2,682.8 pounds per gram and 14-carat gold at 2,092.6 pounds per gram. Additionally, a gold pound rose to 2,5040 pounds up from 2,4200 pounds on Monday.
