Egypt’s Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouly has signed Tuesday a cooperation protocol with Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar to implement a new university in New El Alamein City, northwest of Cairo.
Madbouly said that his ministry is responsible for providing the land plot and implementing the works, while Higher Education Ministry will manage and operate the project.
“The university is to include faculties of medicine, pharmacy, and law as well as economics and political science in addition to science and technology,” Madbouly stated, adding that they will be operated within the academic year 2018-2019.
