Egypt’s Housing Minister inspects 2,696 homes in Iskan Misr
Egypt’s Housing Minister Moutafa Madbouly has inspected the implementation of 2,696 residential units, including 115 buildings in New Damietta City, as part of the country’s Iskan Misr project.
The accomplishment rates reached around 60 percent, Madbouly said, adding that the Housing Ministry is currently executing a commercial area in the city.
“We have completed establishing two commercial areas in the state’s middle-income residential flagship Dar Misr,” the Egyptian minister referred.
Founded by Egyptian Cabinet’s decree No.546/1980, New Damietta is located along the Mediterranean Sea and it is 4.5km (2.8 miles) far from New Damietta Port.
